ALL ROADS LEAD TO ROME

Rome the Eternal city, the capital of Italy, is a jewel under an open sky.

The city of seven Hills (the most well known the Palatine, the Capitoline, the Esquiline and Quirinal) still attracts as many tourists as ever from all over the world.

With Its surface covering 1,285 kmsq, the Italian capital is about 12 times larger within its walls than Paris.

The city seems to remain still part of the ancient world, with its innumerable remains, its ancient temples and basilicas, each epoch leaving its vestiges.

Ancient Rome:
The Roman forum (dating from Republican Rome), the Palatine Mount (the original site of the city), the Coliseum (the largest amphitheatre ever built).

Christian Rome:
The Arch Basilica of Saint John (the first Roman Church and the first Christian seat), St Peter’s Basilica (Constructed on the ancient site of the Circus of Nero, where St Peter was martyred around 65 A.D).

Rome and the arts:
The Vatican museum (the apartments of the Borgias and antique galleries), the Sistine chapel, the Borgese Gallery.

You will fall under the spell of magnificent Rome!
